Consulting Engineers was founded in 1983 and has since established
itself as a leader in structural design and engineering services
for national and international markets. Exposure of working

SCA’s long list of impressive condominium projects includes Phase I & II at Emerald Beach in Panama City, Florida and The Paramount at Buckhead, which is a 44 story high-rise condominium building in Atlanta, Georgia. Other notable projects include the Hard Rock Café at Universal Studios Orlando, Florida, The Houston Holocaust Museum and Stradiford Field, which is an airplane hangar in Louisville, Kentucky.
SCA
encourages the “Team” concept, working closely
with the owner, architect, engineers and contractors during
planning, design and construction. SCA Structural Engineer
Matt Shepard will work closely with the RiverPlace Condominium
Development Team in producing a final product that meets the
project’s objective, budget and schedule.

After
receiving a business degree from Louisiana State University
in 1972, lifelong Baton Rouge resident Richard Preis joined
the staff of Merrill Lynch in institutional sales. He was
a senior vice president when he left more than a decade later
to open the institutional sales office of Smith Barney. Since
1994, he has been a managing director for Morgan Keegan. For
over 30 years, Preis has worked in downtown Baton Rouge and
has long understood the potential for riverfront living.
Michael
Albritton was born and raised in Baton Rouge and attended
University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
After
receiving a construction technology degree from Louisiana
State University in 1972, lifelong Baton Rouge resident Mark
Washauer began a successful career in developing residential,
office and retail buildings in Baton Rouge and surrounding
areas.
Washer-Hill
& Lipscomb Architecture was
founded in Baton Rouge in 1977 and has grown to become one
of the largest firms in Louisiana. They offer a full range
of architectural and interior design services, from strategic
planning through construction administration.
